Don't Wait For It To Show Up.Get Ahead Of It.
Osteopractic Physical Therapy is partnering with run groups in Fort Mill to offer runners a 30 minute complimentary movement and injury screening with a Fellowship-trained Doctor of Physical Therapy — designed to assess your body to find anything that could put you at risk for injury.
What Your Complimentary Screening Includes
A 30 minute, one-on-one session with a Doctor of Physical Therapy, built specifically for runners in training to asses the body and identify potential issues.
Movement & Gait Assessment
A look at how you move and run, designed to spot patterns that can lead to overuse issues as mileage builds.
Joint Mobility Check
An evaluation of key joints used in running to flag restrictions before they turn into compensations.
Strength & Stability Screen
A check of the strength and stability runners rely on most, so imbalances can be addressed early.
This screening is designed to help identify limitations early. It is educational in nature and is not a diagnosis or treatment of any condition — for a full evaluation, our team will always recommend getting evaluated in person.
Small Issues Don't Stay Small Under Marathon Mileage
A minor restriction or imbalance rarely feels like a problem at low mileage. But as your training block builds toward race day, those small issues compound — and can turn into the kind of setback that costs you weeks of training.
Our goal with this screening is to help you catch that early, while it's still easy to address, instead of after it starts interfering with your training plan.
Common Concerns We Check For
Built for the aches and restrictions that tend to surface as running volume increases.
Osteopractic PT vs. A Typical Insurance-Driven Clinic
The same standard of care your screening is built on.
| Osteopractic PT of the Carolinas | Typical Insurance-Driven Clinic | |
|---|---|---|
| Who treats you | A Fellowship-trained Doctor of Physical Therapy with the Diploma in Osteopractic — every visit | Rotating aides and techs on a shared floor |
| Your visit | Private, one-on-one, unhurried — 3–4x more time with you | Shorter visits, often shared with other patients |
| Treatment approach | Advanced manual therapy, dry needling, spinal and extremity manipulation, targeted exercise | Standardized protocols regardless of your specific issue |
| Getting started | Direct access — no referral needed | Often requires a physician referral |
